Job Summary

Morehouse General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our growing healthcare team in Bastrop Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who desires a rural practice setting with a Monday through Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric care and be able to provide high-quality patient services. As a member of our team, they will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals. This is a primary outpatient practice with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose health issues.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
  
• Perform routine health screenings and preventive care measures.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• MD/DO Degree
• Louisiana Licensure or ability to obtain

• Proficiency in patient care with a focus on compassion and empathy.
• Ability to perform triage effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
