Job Description

Vanderbilt Eye Institute is seeking a talented comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding region.

Position Highlights:

The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of 43 ophthalmologists and optometrists, 15 researchers, and 25 trainees. Our growing department provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art clinical care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, 12 satellite locations, and two optical centers.
Our comprehensive ophthalmologists provide care at Nashville metro satellite locations and rotate to the main campus biweekly. Minimal call – only 2 weeks per year.
Great mix of private practice and academics with the opportunity to teach fellows, residents, and other learners. Participate in clinical or translational research and/or QI projects during protected academic time.
