Cardiology Job at IH Physician in Largo, FL

A growing physician lead multispecialty virtual group practice is looking to add cardiology services. This would initially be a part-time opportunity with a goal of growing the service line to full-time. 

Our client hospitals request a consult and our physician team members have 24-hours to provide the consult. Consults are completed within that 24-hour timeframe at our physicians convenience. Our consultants are privileged at our client hospitals, have access to the electronic health record, and use our proprietary hardware to conduct the examination with the assistance of a bedside nurse. Our IH Cloud platform allows for the auscultation of real-time heart and lung sounds, the use of digital cameras to examine the patient, and a trained bedside nurse to facilitate the palpatory part of the exam.

Our consultant makes recommendations and the requesting physician places the orders. Our consultants are paid on a per encounter basis with a range of $150-$200 per encounter. There are no daily rounding requirements. IH Physician will cover the cost of all of your licensure, privileging, credentialing, malpractice, and equipment. 

With more than 40 physicians practicing with us today, you will be joining a group of some of the best physicians in their respective specialties. We require a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, clean malpractice history, and board certification in your given specialty (no exceptions). There are even opportunities to earn equity in the company.
