Preferred Experience: Board Certified or board eligible in Neurology

Services to be performed include, but are not limited to:

• Provide neurological care to our veteran patients.
• Prescribe medication, perform minor procedures, injections and laboratory requests, and treating patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Provide support and provide coverage on the inpatient service for staffing neurology consults and will make rounds as appropriate for inpatients requiring neurological evaluation or treatment.
• The incumbent provides educational training for Neurology Resident physicians.
• Administrative duties could include sectional and medical subspecialty service responsibilities and serving on hospital committees.

Education Debt Reduction Program: Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) Authorized: This position is eligible for EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of your start date. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Former participants are ineligible to apply for the EDRP incentive. 
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
