Urgent Care Job at Erlanger Health in Murphy, NC

Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital is  seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position at our urgent care clinic in Hayesville, NC. The shift is 7 days on, 7 days off with no call. Candidates with previous urgent care experience are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients.
• Manage common urgent care conditions such as colds, flu, and COVID-19.
• Perform minor procedures including sutures and stitches.
• Conduct and interpret X-rays and utilize in-house lab services.
• Work within designated Rural Health Clinics to deliver comprehensive healthcare.

Education, Training, & Experience

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant (PA) from a nationally accredited program
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Board Certified
