Join a mission-driven team dedicated to the health of the Cherokee people. Cherokee Nation Health Services is building a new, state-of-the-art $450 million hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and we're looking for a skilled board-certified orthopedic surgeon to help us expand our services.
You'll be part of a dynamic team committed to providing high-quality care, working alongside one physician and three orthopedic PAs, as well as a dedicated support staff. Our mission is to partner with individuals, families, and communities to improve health and quality of life for this and future generations.
A New Chapter in Healthcare
This is an incredible opportunity to be at the forefront of a major expansion. We're replacing our current W.W. Hastings Hospital, which serves over 100,000 patients a year, with a brand-new, six-story facility.

The Position
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO with a current or pending Oklahoma medical license. The ideal candidate will have experience with total hip and total knee replacements and a history of performing at least 250 orthopedic surgeries.
Your schedule will be 4-5 days a week, with a typical workload of 8-10 total joints per week and a call schedule of approximately seven days per month. You'll be part of a team that handles over 72,000 emergency visits annually.
