Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Job at Veterans Health Administration in California

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar procedures, complex dental extractions, treatment of orofacial infections and trauma, pre-prosthetic surgery, and the placement of osseointegrated implants. Responsibilities will also include the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular dysfunction, surgical reconstruction of acquired or developmental facial anomalies, orthognathic surgery, and various grafting procedures. Additionally, the surgeon will perform functional and cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, septoplasty, blepharoplasty, and the treatment of cosmetic defects resulting from service-related trauma. The selected candidate must demonstrate expertise in assessment, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and post-treatment care across all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-time, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements:

• United States Citizenship
• Unrestricted license
• Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
• Completion of residency program in general practice or specialty

Salary Range: $250,000-$325,000

PTO: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26/13 days of annual/sick leave respectively, 11 paid Federal holidays annually)
