The City of Sedalia, founded in October 1860, is the seat of Pettis County in west-central Missouri. Located 90 miles east of Kansas City and 190 miles west of St. Louis, Sedalia's location at the intersection of US routes 50 and 65 gives residents and businesses easy access to Interstate 70, state capital Jefferson City and the Lake of the Ozarks recreational area.
The Sedalia Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, or CBOC, improves access to comprehensive health services by allowing us to reach our Veterans right in their own backyards.

Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment):A student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

Job Responsibilities
examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions;
carrying out specific procedures as appropriately credentialed
making notes, both as a legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other health care professionals;
working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department, or within other specialties;
liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment;
promoting health education;
undertaking managerial responsibilities such as planning the workload and staffing of the department, especially at more senior levels
Preferred Experience: Board Certified preferred in Primary Care, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; Board Eligible Accepted
