Job Description

HNI Healthcare  and  Doctor’s Hospital of Laredo  are currently seeking a BE/BC physician to join our expanding hospitalist team in Laredo, Texas. Practicing physicians and graduating residents to be considered. 

This opportunity Features:

  • 183-bed Level III Trauma Center
  • 24-bed Open ICU
  • No procedures, no codes
  • Flexible block scheduling 7 on / 7 off (6a-6p)
  • 5 physicians rounding days; 1 physician rounding nights
  • Very competitive compensation package & benefits
  • Physician-owned for-profit hospital
  • EMR-Cerner

Doctors Hospital of Laredo is a 183-bed acute care facility that offers a range of medical services including 24-hour emergency, ICU and NICU.   A successful candidate for HNI Healthcare possesses the following:

  • Preference for real-time, data-driven clinical decision-making.
  • Board certified, or board eligible, Internal Medicine MD or DO   
  • Current, unrestricted, Texas license to practice.
  • Current, unrestricted federal, and as needed state, prescriptive authority.
