University of Rochester Medical Center is presently recruiting for a full-time Med-Psych, FM or IM physician to join the Inpatient Medicine in Psychiatry (IMIP) team, which covers a 20-bed inpatient acute medical unit and our expanded 10-bed Substance Use Medical Management and Infection Treatment (SUMMIT) unit.
The position would be a blend of Inpatient and Outpatient care, in a "Comprehensivist" role. Physicians work closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes a psychiatrist, a pharmacist, social workers and APPs, as well as peer specialists and substance use counselors.
