Orthopedic Surgeon Job at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Midlothian, VA

Bon Secours Orthopedic Specialists of Midlothian is hiring a Physician Assistant with experience in orthopedics and surgery!

This is a unique opportunity for a new grad or experienced provider to come join our great team of orthopedic providers. There is a long-term opportunity to run a clinic alongside our Orthopedic surgeons. The PA will coordinate with practice clinicians, clinical support staff and administration to deliver the highest quality care to patients. Typical days will include visit preparation, chart review, patient and provider communication, and delivering care/ education to patients and families. 

Details:

•   Surgical certification required 
  
• Learning and growth opportunities 
• Inpatient opportunity, PA will assist with order and rounding 
• BLS, ACLS certifications required   
  
• Clinical and operative schedule will include 2-3 clinic days per week with 1-2 OR days per week and protected admin time. 
• Perform orders and interpret diagnostic studies. 
• Evaluate and analyze patient responses to treatment 
• Ensure patient referrals for procedures and other subspecialties are completed.
