As the Associate Medical Director for our Ft Myers Market, you'll be at the forefront of driving clinical excellence while shaping the future of healthcare delivery in our community. In this role, you'll manage and mentor a talented group of Medical Directors, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational success across multiple centers. You'll also balance your leadership responsibilities with hands-on patient care as a Primary Care Physician (PCP), making a real impact on the lives of our patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Inspire: Take charge of clinical outcomes, ensuring that your centers meet and exceed both clinical and financial goals. Be a coach and mentor to your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

• Drive Clinical Innovation: Oversee talent development for PCPs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Medical Directors, leading physician shadowing, coaching, and leadership development initiatives to empower your team to thrive.

• Foster a Strong Culture: Cultivate a physician culture that reflects ChenMed's core values, ensuring that your centers embody our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

• Collaborate & Elevate: Work closely with Clinical COE to onboard and train new clinicians, ensuring that we consistently deliver the best patient care in the market.

• Recruit Top Talent: Play a key role in the recruitment process, helping to bring in the best PCPs and specialists who share our passion for patient-centered care.

• Community Leadership: Build meaningful relationships with local payers, specialists, and hospitals while enhancing our social media presence in the Ft Myers area.

• Deliver Impact: Assist with market performance improvement initiatives, lead monthly scorecard reviews, and contribute to the development of clinical strategies aimed at enhancing care and reducing costs.

• Care for Patients: Spend about 20% of your time as a PCP, directly caring for a patient panel and ensuring they receive the highest level of clinical care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty.

• Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience, with 3+ years preferred. Experience as a Medical Director or in a similar leadership role, especially in a Medicare or Medicaid population, is a plus.

• Certification: Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.

• Licensing: Current, active medical license to practice in the state of employment.
