Bon Secours is hiring a Full Time Neurovascular NP at St. Mary's Hospital! 

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3/ 12 hr shifts/week (must be willing to work weekends)
• Credentialing: Saint Mary’s Hospital
• Average Patient’s Per Day: 10 -20
• Patient Base: Inpatient
  
• Virginia License and Certification required 
• The primary responsibility of the Neurocritical care Inpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) is assessment and medical management of adult neurological patients admitted to the adult medical-surgical intensive care unit within the specified facility.
  
• Communicate clinical issues to the physicians as appropriate, write orders according to standardized procedures/protocols, perform daily patient-care rounds, and facilitate arrangements for discharge/transfer.
  
• Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess patients and manage all aspects of care.
  
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate and manage the process of patient care from the point of admission to the hospital, through discharge and hand-off to an outpatient care provider to ensure continuity of care where applicable.
