Key Responsibilities:
- Take calls from units and new admissions from emergency department or as direct admit
- Average admissions is eight per shift
- Perform direct patient care with strong subspecialist support
- Servicesinclude hospital admissions, consultations, and cross coverage
Opportunity Details:
- Full-Time, Nights7 pm- 7am; 7 on/14off schedule
- 100% inpatient, two nocturnists per shift
- IU Health Ball Memorial onsite, and admits to Jay Hospital via telemed.
- Open ICU: hospitalist manage pressors, but not intubations;Procedures not mandatory, but opportunity to provideif desired; IM residents run codes, rapids
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
- Visa sponsorship available; H-1B
- Experience, preferred
