The Canton Medical Education Foundation (CMEF) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated internist to join our Residency Program in Canton, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:

• Educational Leadership: Collaborate with the Program Director and faculty to design, implement, and evaluate the residency curriculum, ensuring alignment with ACGME standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Resident Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to residents in their professional development, including career counseling, research guidance, and assistance with board preparation.
• Clinical Excellence: Engage in patient care as you oversee residents in a traditional mix of ambulatory and inpatient environments. Serve as a role model for residents, demonstrating commitment to high value, compassionate, and evidence-based healthcare.
• Scholarly Activities: Participate in and promote scholarly activities, including research, quality improvement projects, and presentations at regional and national forums.
• Committee Participation: Serve on departmental and institutional committees, contributing to the advancement of medical education and patient care initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Internal Medicine
• Demonstrated interest and experience in medical education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with commitment to teamwork and resident development
