Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York, and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-or part-time BC/BE Dermatologist to join its busy practice.


Description

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated healthcare system that provides care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school - based health centers, and health partners in related fields.


Job Description & Responsibilities

  1. 3 Dermatologists, which include a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians
  2. Medical Dermatology with additional opportunities for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired
  3. 25–30 patients per day, 5 clinical days
  4. Outpatient practice
  5. No Call Requirement
  6. Virtual Scribe if desired
  7. Full support staff 
  1. Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location
  2. Optional teaching opportunities with Columbia Medical Students and Bassett’s Internal Medicine and Surgical Residents
  3. Salary Range: $500,000 - $600,000 per year plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
  4. Bassett offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
  5. Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000
  6. Group Employed Model


    Job Qualifications

    1. MD, DO or MBBS
    2. Board Eligible or Board Certified
    3. NYS Licensure
    4. BLS Certification Required
    5. DEA Required
