Charleston Area Medical Center located in Charleston, WV is recruiting an additional BC/BE Infectious Disease Telemedicine physician to join an ID practice of 8 full time physicians, 2 PharmD/ID specialists, and 3 supporting NP’s. Telemedicine support will be needed M-F, 8am-4PM, 3 (consecutive) out of 4 weeks with remaining week provided by main team. No weekend, holiday, or night obligations.

Practice involves remote ID consultations, provider education, and facility support for smaller (<100 beds) facilities in the Vandalia system

Employed physicians receive a competitive guaranteed salary of $264,000 and a comprehensive benefit package including:

Our center is part of the Vandalia Heath System composted of 17 hospitals and 180 outpatient locations. Charleston Area Medical Center is a nonprofit, 1,103-bed regional referral center made up of six hospitals: CAMC General Hospital, CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, CAMC Memorial Hospital, CAMC Plateau Medical Center, CAMC Teays Valley Hospital and CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital, as well as the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and the CAMC Foundation. Nearly 900 physicians have admitting privileges at CAMC, which is also West Virginia's premiere medical teaching facility.
