Seeking General Dermatologist

UC Davis Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Dermatologist responsible for conducting patient examinations and providing comprehensive care, including performing minor surgeries. Key responsibilities include prescribing medications, ordering lab work and imaging, and delivering other necessary dermatologic treatments. Additional duties involve monitoring patient progress, promptly responding to patient inquiries and phone calls, and actively participating in staff meetings to discuss patients' medical and surgical conditions. The role also includes writing referral letters to external physicians, as well as handling appeal letters and insurance requests as needed.

The Department of Dermatology is an academic/clinical division within the School of Medicine, comprised of around 25 faculty members, 15 Volunteer Clinical Faculty, 6 Staff Physicians, 1 Fellow, 15 Residents, and approximately 45 staff members. Our department focuses on research, education, and clinical services. Patient care is provided at UC Davis Medical Center, with outpatient services available at various ambulatory clinics in Sacramento, as well as Davis, Elk Grove, Folsom, and Roseville.
