Academic Pediatric Cardiologist
The Charleston Area Medical Center Institute for Academic Medicine is seeking a pediatric cardiologist for a full-time position in the Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will provide pediatric cardiology coverage at Charleston Area Medical Center.

36-bed General Pediatrics/Adolescent Unit
26-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
6-bed Level I Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (with four additional transitional care beds)
Pediatric Emergency Medicine Center
Outpatient Subspecialty Clinic and General Pediatrics Practices on campus

This center is known for its exceptional care and advanced technology, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of heart and vascular conditions.
An experienced team of specialists that includes medical and interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac electrophysiologists, vascular surgeons and specialized advanced practice providers and nurses.

• Advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic testing using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Outpatient Congestive Heart Failure and COPD Clinics to manage risk factors and improve heart and lung health.
• Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and supportive care.

Job Requirements by the time of appointment are:
MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited program
Board certification or board eligibility (ABP or AOBP) in Pediatrics
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Charleston Area Medical Center
Eligible for WV Medical License
