Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our highly trained team of Orthopedic Surgeons. We provide care to a varied group of patients with Total Joint orthopedic surgical needs. Our PA/ACNP will round on patients in the hospital; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be confident in their OR skills and clinical procedures, be driven and independent with the ability to be a self-starter and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team. 

Requirements:

· Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

· ACNP candidates will require an RNFA certificate at the time of application

· Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ

· Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance

· Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS

· Experience preferred; new graduates with training in orthopedic surgery will be considered

Practice Details:

· Full-time

· Clinic 2.5 days per week | OR 2 days per week

· Highly engaged leadership and collaborative OR team

· Clinic/OR position; provide OR first-assist as needed

· Patient-focused, friendly, and collaborative

· Participate in shared call responsibilities (Practice and Hospital)
