IES has an opportunity for an Emergency Department Medical Director at Ennis Regional Medical Center and Parkview Regional Hospital:
- Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department.
- Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
- Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
- Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
- Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
Department Details:
- 24 hours of physician coverage daily (twelve hr shifts)
- 14K annual Volume
- 9 Bed Emergency Department
- EMR: MedHost
Requirements:
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine.
- Previous experience as Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director.
- Active TX License.
