Mayo Clinic is searching for an innovative physician leader to serve as the Chair of its Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology at our academic medical center in Jacksonville, Florida.
The department chair of the Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology is an influential leader who will establish and foster multi-disciplinary collaborative interactions throughout the Department and across the Mayo Clinic, as well as be a strong advocate for clinical, research, educational endeavors. The chair will partner with Mayo Collaborative Services and provide strategic direction for the Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology in the field of clinical labs and pathology in alignment with Bold. Forward. strategy efforts to Cure, Connect and Transform.
Candidates must have a proven record of leadership experience and sustained and substantive academic accomplishments, preferably having achieved the academic rank of Professor.

Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is a unique practice environment, with multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with large Infectious Disease and Transplant clinical practices committed to teamwork. Our clinical pathology laboratory offers a robust and growing test menu focused on the needs of our patients and outside clients through the reference laboratory. The selected candidate will join a group of over 35 consultants. All faculty have subspecialty expertise and participate in scholarly activities through research and education, offering a stimulating environment for professional growth and career development.
