Remote Reading - General Radiologist

Job Description

Aptive Resources is seeking a dedicated and Remote General Radiologist to provide remote reading services for the Togus VA Medical Center

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (EST working hours)
  • Position will NOT require any overnight reads or weekend reading

Position will pay an RVU-based structure for the procedures, so if you're interested in providing coverage for these needs, please reply interested, and we can setup a time to chat to determine what you would need compensation wise for each read

 

The physician will provide the following general radiologist reads: 


Plain Film
CT Exams, Abd & Pelv Exams, & LDCS
CTA Exams & Angio ABD Arties W/ Runoff
Ultrasound (US) Exams & Head & Neck (Thyroid)
US Arterial Duplex
MR Exams & MRA Abd Exams
Nuc Med
MR Prostate
PET/CT
2D Mammography single Breast
3D Mammography single Breast
MRI Cardiac CPT Code 75557, 75559, 75561
Computer Tomography, Heart with 75572
Computer Tomography, Heart 75573
Myocardial Perfusion Imaging SPECT (78452) 3D
Myocardial Perfusion Imaging SPECT (78451)


  1. Education: Must hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine from a school approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
  2. Licensure: Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  3. Must be Board Certified by the American College of Radiology (ACR) with secondary board Certification in general Radiology
  4. Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for educating and counseling patients and their families.
  6. Proficiency in using electronic medical records and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Dedication to continuous improvement and participation in quality improvement activities.
