Pediatrics - Surgery Job at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to joinour Pediatric CV Surgery TeamatRiley Children's Health!

Position Details:

• Full-Time, Day Shifts
  • 4x10hour shifts per week
• Call: Every 3rd week for emergencies,transplants, procurements
• 90% Inpatient 10%Outpatient
• Patient population: pediatrics with congenital heart disease, some adult patients may be included

Key Responsibilities:

• Procedures:First assist surgeons in OR, closing in OR, dressing changes, suture removal, chest tube/pacing wire/line removals
• First assist in OR, Pre-op patients, clinic, post op virtual visits, call

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required
• FNP, PNP, or PA certification required
• 1 year of APP experience preferred
• First Assist OR experience, cardiac and/or pediatric experiencerequired.
