Position Overview

• 6 General Surgeons, 24/7 Hospitalist program support at MercyOne, a Magnet Recognized hospital
  
• 1:6 callBuilt in referrals (including referrals from surrounding rural offices), ready-made patient panel
• Services offered include: bread and butter general surgery including laparoscopic and robotic procedures, comprehensive breast care including ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsies, endoscopies - diagnostic and therapeutic, venous closure, trauma coverage
• Shareholder eligibility after the first full calendar year

Comprehensive Cancer Center 
MercyOne Medical Center and Medical Associates  opened a new, state of the art, fully integrated, comprehensive cancer center in June, 2020. The center is the first in Dubuque and the tri-state region to conveniently offer an array of hematology/oncology outpatient services including chemotherapy infusion along with radiation oncology services in the same building. Features of the new cancer center include state-of-the-art technology, access to pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, nurse navigators, and other members of the care team in one convenient location.
