The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, located in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing and dynamic Cardiology Section. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a chance to deliver meaningful care in a well-supported and state-of-the-art facility serving our nation’s heroes.

Position Overview:

• Perform a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, including consults, follow-ups, and continuity management

• Participate in the STEMI call rotation (shared and reasonable schedule)

• Interpret EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring

• Engage in teaching and academic activities with residents and fellows via university affiliations

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including heart failure, EP, imaging, and primary care providers

• Opportunity for leadership and program development within the cath lab
