Job Description

The Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our faculty. Responsibilities include direct patient care and resident/medical student teaching across the full spectrum of Family Medicine, including inpatient and outpatient medicine. Obstetrics is optional. Applicants must have completed an accredited Family Medicine residency program, be ABFM or AOBFP certified or board eligible, and be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license. Enthusiasm for teaching, strong clinical skills (outpatient and inpatient), and a team-oriented, collaborative approach are essential. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. The pursuit of additional specialized areas of interest within family medicine is encouraged and supported by the program.

Average Time Spent in Job Duties:

Precepting: 30-40%

Clinical: 20-30%

Administrative: 30-40%
