Exciting Pediatric Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity at WVU Medicine – Join a Growing Academic Practice at our New Children’s Hospital!
The West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a pediatric radiologist (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank) to join our rapidly expanding academic imaging team.
Our new 150-bed Children’s Hospital has a full suite of pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology, and GI-endoscopy with dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff. The hospital includes 34 pediatric beds, 54 NICU beds, 26 PICU beds, a Heart Center, and a dedicated Cancer Center. WVU Medicine Children’s is a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, with plans to become Level 1, as it is for adults currently. A Birthing Center also includes a 30-bed obstetrical unit and maternal-fetal medicine clinic. J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in West Virginia with a pediatric cardiac surgery program, the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state equipped to serve children, and the only hospital in the state to receive Magnet status for nursing excellence.
