Position Available – Pediatrician  

Unity Healthcare seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible  Pediatrician to join our team at Preferred Pediatrics of Lafayette, a practice division of Unity Healthcare. Preferred Pediatrics consist of 4 physicians and 5 Nurse Practitioners. With Unity, you will be joining a well-established medical group team of 60+ providers who deliver quality, patient-centered care across 20+ specialties to the patients of Lafayette, IN. Unity Healthcare is a significant, long-standing player in Lafayette; they are a locally owned and managed group of physicians in which decision-making is made by your peers. Leadership opportunities are also available.

Our ideal Pediatrician will be personable and skilled at relationship building to help continue the positive atmosphere we have created at this location. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. We are interested in those that display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community to build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-Time or Part-Time
• Office hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (inpatient rounding before clinic).
• The call is shared with another group of pediatricians 1:7 weekends; 1 day of weekday call; holiday call is equally shared among physicians
• Admitting hospital has 24/7 NICU coverage
• Malpractice-friendly state

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• New residents are highly encouraged to apply
• State License to practice medicine in the state of Indiana or the ability to be licensed upon starting
• ABP certified or eligible
• Not Excluded from Medicaid
