Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our growing team at our Medical Office Building. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with physical impairments, disabilities, and musculoskeletal conditions while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients requiring rehabilitation care.
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments.
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform EMG, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and other PM&R procedures as appropriate.
- Participate in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives within Jefferson Health.
- Ensure continuity of care and effective communication with patients, families, and referring providers.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
