Internist Job at CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Surprise, AZ

CenterWell Senior Primary Care Centers is seeking a dedicated Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our team! You have the opportunity take a quality focused, and hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinants of health are impacting health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; no nights, no weekends, no holidays!
• Dedicated administrative time weekly
• Patient Care:
• Lower patient volume with focus on quality and relationships
• Longer appointment times = more 1:1 time with patients
• Serve as a lead medical expert within the Care Team, actively participating in daily huddles.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in the state of desired employment (or willingness to obtain).
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing a Medicare Advantage patient panel with a solid understanding of best practices in a coordinated care environment.
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
• Familiarity with HEDIS quality indicators.

• Guaranteed base salary plus bi-annual bonus (20% of base).
