Pulmonary & Critical Care Nocturnist in Muncie, Indiana

Job Description

Join our growing and compassionate team at IU Health Ball Memorial in Muncie, IN! We are seeking a patient-focused Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to collaborate with our highly skilled teams.

The Pulmonary department is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and education of patients with lung disease. The department includes board certified pulmonary specialists and licensed respiratory therapists. Lung diseases commonly treated include asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, pleural effusions, lung cancer, chronic cough and cough productive of blood, pulmonary vascular disease including embolism and pulmonary hypertension, and shortness of breath of various causes.

Position Details:

  • Full-time employment
  • 7 days on 7 days off, onsite nocturnist (8pm-8am)
  • 25 working weeks per year
  • On-Call when on duty consult
  • 100% Inpatient
  • Teaching and clinical research opportunities available

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Fellowship training required in Pulmonary Critical Care or Critical Care
  • Experienced providers only

Compensation Details:
