Family Medicine Physician Job at Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Hawaii

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Formulate full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current and/ or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. - Promote preventative and health maintenance care, stresses positive health behaviors and self-care through education and counseling. - Provide assessments of fitness and suitability for duty and deployments of service members. - Evaluate the care provided to patients at Military Treatment Facility (MTF), identifies opportunities to change the care delivered, advises on difficult or complex cases, and recommends corrective action when problems exist. Performs other duties as assigned.
