Job Title: Transplant Coordinator II - RN (Critical Care/ICU/ER Required)
Location: Azusa, El Segundo, Bakersfield, Carpinteria, Mission Hills, CA (Employee assigned to one base office; travel within service area required)
Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (including nights and alternating weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage donor assessment, resuscitation, hemodynamic and ventilator support to optimize organ function.
Coordinate diagnostic testing to determine organ suitability for transplantation.
Oversee organ allocation, packaging, and recovery procedures.
Collaborate with medical professionals, transplant centers, and donor families.
Uphold patient safety, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance.
Support hospital development and deliver education about organ donation.
Travel within the service area as required.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited RN program with current RN license. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Critical Care, ICU, or ER nursing.
BCLS certification required at hire; ACLS and PALS certifications required during orientation.
Work Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 7 days every two weeks, including alternating weekends. Night shifts required.
