Samaritan Health Services is currently seeking a Family Medicine Residency Program Director to lead the team in Corvallis, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of family physicians while practicing in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Position Overview
Academic Responsibilities (0.7 FTE):
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the residency program, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards.
- Collaborate with the Associate Program Director and GME leadership to maintain continuous accreditation.
- Develop and refine rotations, curriculum, and scholarly activities.
- Mentor residents and faculty, conduct evaluations, and support performance improvement.
- Participate in recruitment, faculty development, and GME committee activities.
Clinical Responsibilities (0.3 FTE):
- Provide direct patient care (~10 hours/week) with 30-minute appointments.
- Optional inpatient hospitalist shifts.
- EPIC EMR and nurse triage support.
- Join a well-established team of full-time clinicians.
Candidate Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical education and leadership.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
