We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a full-time position to join INSIGHT Chicago and Medical Center Chicago. The work schedule includes at least 120 hours of coverage per month. Independent Contractor (1099) status. EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

INSIGHT Chicago and Medical Center Chicago provides 24/7/365 coverage and staff with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. We are a primary stroke center, utilize Cerner as our EMR and are staffed with excellent specialty backup, including interventional vascular radiology and neurosurgery, supportive nursing staff and administrative staff.

Emergency Department Statistics

• 32,000 visits annually
• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• 25 emergency room beds, including ten fast-track beds, two assessment rooms, 1 EKG/lab room, two triage rooms, six ambulance bays
• Flexible scheduling including 8-hour shifts
• 32-hours of MD coverage and 24/7 coverage with a swing shift during peak hours for APP coverage
• Low acuity patients
• Cardiac catheterization lab onsite
• Orthopedic treatment and surgery
• Internal Medicine residency programs onsite
