Job Description

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our established Acute Care Clinic that will provide care to the Richardson Independent School District employee and their families.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master's Degree
Recognition as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner by the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas
Current Licensure by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas to practice professional nursing
Unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEA
At least two (2) years of experience, preferred
Must be current in CPR and BLS certification

Responsibilities:

Provide advanced nursing care to patients with acute conditions.
Provide physical exams and assessments, diagnose and treat a variety of acute conditions
Evaluating patients conditions and identifying acute conditions that could lead to instability and diagnosing care and treatment
Communicate with patients, families about treatment
Collaborate with other physicians and other healthcare professionals
