Seeking Critical Care Physicians for locum coverage at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, Maryland.

Program details:

• 20-bed closed ICU with primarily bread-and-butter med/surg, although some cardiac and some neurosurgery. There is a cath lab for elective and emergent cardiac caths. This is a new ICU facility that opened in the Fall of 2022.
• 1 Intensivist from 7a-5p with APP M-F from 7a-3p. Intensivist from 5p-7a. On the weekends, no APP coverage; however, there is a moonlighting APP pool that can be called on if the census is high.
• Typically, the APP carries 1/3 of the patients, and the Intensivist sees 2/3 during weekdays.
• EMR: Meditech with Dragon for dictation
