The Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength in patients across various demographics, including orthopedics and geriatrics. This role includes both clinical and inpatient responsibilities and requires strong interpersonal and clinical skills, including trigger point therapy and manual interventions.
Evaluate and treat patients based on individual care plans and physician prescriptions.
Assist patients with physical exercises and therapeutic activities.
Administer physical treatments such as massage, hydrotherapy, ultrasound, and more.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.
Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and insurance requirements.
Comply with all infection control, safety, and professional standards.
Promote therapy services within the hospital and among referring providers.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
Colorado PT license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
AHA BLS certification (current).
2-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
Proficient in EMR systems and medical terminology.
Strong communication, customer service, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
