Role Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate candidate with gynecologic oncology expertise to join our Roswell community. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to quality and best patient experience. This specialty Physician will be expected to carry out her/his duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, act in the best interest of St. Joseph’s Health and RPCI Oncology PC, and fully support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Clinical Duties:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat gynecologic cancers (ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, vaginal)
- Perform advanced, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries
- Lead development of personalized treatment plans
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate care across the cancer continuum
Academic & Research Contributions:
- Participating in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Roswell Park on research and protocol development
- Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical case reviews
Teaching & Mentorship:
- Educate residents, fellows, and medical students
- Serve as a role model and mentor in clinical and academic settings
Community Engagement:
- Conduct outreach to promote gynecologic cancer awareness and prevention
- Support survivorship, fertility preservation, and palliative care efforts
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification/eligibility in OB-GYN and Gynecologic Oncology
- Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology
- Active or eligible NY State medical license
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Proficiency in robotic and minimally invasive surgery
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and teaching skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development
