Warren General Hospital is an award-winning, independent community hospital located in northwestern Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a full-time Otolaryngologist Physician to help us open an Outpatient ENT Practice.
Practice Details:
- Full Spectrum Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
- Outpatient practice; no call
- Post surgery inpatients managed by Hospitalists and/or general surgeons
- Open brand new hospital-owned practice
- Plans to add experienced ENT Physician Assistant and Audiologist
- EHR –Meditech Expanse with Dragon voice recognition platform
- Monday through Friday 8a to 4:30p
- Brand new office with established referral base from 10 primary care and urgent care offices.
Work/Life Balance:
Call is limited to providing consultation services for Hospitalists managing post-operative inpatients and ER Physicians.
- Number of Calls: Phone consultations with the ER and inpatient teams happen weekly, but urgent//emergent calls requiring in-person evaluation happen rarely (perhaps 6 times/year)
- Nighttime Calls: Once per month or less on average.
- Outpatient Care: Most ER cases would be referred to see you in the outpatient clinic during clinic hours.
- Inpatient Consultation: Supported by Hospitalists, you will be able to handle inpatient consults at your convenience (provided they are not urgent). You will focus on consultative care, with the exception of post-op patients.
