Pediatric Hospitalist/ER APP position available in a combined Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit at Anne Arundel Medical Center, which is situated in beautiful Annapolis, the capital city of Maryland. Doctors Emergency Services P.A. is an independent single specialty Emergency Medicine group seeking a full-time pediatric APP hospitalist for a 18-bed combined Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit. ~20k PED visits annually, ~1K admissions per year. Subspecialty rich for a community hospital. Well positioned between two tertiary care pediatric centers, who work well with our organization to best serve children in our community. Work with a dedicated team of 11 experienced pediatricians and PNP’s. There is 24 hours of dedicated pediatrician staffing, and APP would work independently but always have support from the physician on with them, as 16 hours of double coverage. Candidate requirements:

Strong clinical skills

Board certified - PNP, minimum 3-5 years’ experience, or PA with pediatric specific experiences minimum 3-5 years

Provide hospitalist care for all patients in ED and the inpatient unit - opportunity for both ER procedures and inpatient management

Responsibilities include:

Full time is 32 clinical hours a week, with distribution between days, evenings and nights, as well as weekends (8-, 10- and 12- hour shift options); would consider minimum part-time work of 64 hours a month.
