Internist Job at DAX Contracting Services in Sunrise Beach, MO

If you’re a Board-Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician, we’ve got a locum tenens opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona that blends purpose with flexibility

The Position: 

We’re working with the Indian Health Service to place a dedicated Primary Care Physician at their Phoenix facility. This is a 3-month contract (with potential to extend), and onboarding can start right away.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts/week 

• No call. No weekends.

The Practice Setting:

• Outpatient only, no hospital rounds

• See 12–15 adult patients/day

• Focus on standard primary care and chronic condition management

• Minimal gyn: just pap smears and symptom-based pelvic exams

• No suturing, no procedures outside your comfort zone

Support Staff:

• Physicians & mid-levels

• RN staff

• On-site specialty providers

Requirements:

• Board-Certified (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine only – no Board Eligible at this time)

• DEA license (schedules 2–5, fee paid)

• BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association only)

• EMR: RPMS (training provided if needed)

• Any active state license accepted!

Timeline:

Credentialing takes about 4–6 weeks
