Details:

We’re partnering with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee to fill Emergency Department coverage starting as soon as onboarding is complete for an ongoing/flexible assignment.  This is a rare chance to serve those who’ve served us, in a facility that values quality care and work-life balance.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shifts

• Coverage includes day, night, and swing shifts

• No call

• Steady pace: 1–2 patients per hour

Cases:

• Adult patients only

• Standard emergency care (heart attacks, strokes, trauma are routed out or stabilized then transferred)

• You’ll focus on managing the urgent/emergent needs of Veterans—no major trauma stress

Charting:

• EMR: CPRS

What You Need:

• BLS, ACLS, DEA

• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)

• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicien with current ER experience

• Any active U.S. state medical license

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Credentialing:

• Average turnaround is 6 - 8 weeks
