Dental Hygienist Opportunity – Make a Difference in Fort Yates, ND and or McLaughlin, SD
  Ready for a change of pace and a rewarding role where your skills truly matter? We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced Dental Hygienist to support the Indian Health Service. 

Job Info:

• Start Date: As soon as background checks are complete

• Duration: asap - ongoing

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM 

• No nights. No weekends. No call.

What You’ll Do:

• See 5–6 patients/day, all ages (majority adults)

• Perform standard dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and root planing (SRPs) if needed

• Local anesthesia is optional, based on your state license

• Collaborate with a full dental team—Dentists, Assistants, and other Hygienists

• Document care using RPMS/Dentrix EMR

What You Need:

• Active BLS certification

• Any valid U.S. state dental hygiene license

• Up-to-date continuing education as required by your certification

• Willingness to provide annual documentation verifying certification for IHS credentialing

• A heart for community-based care and a flexible, team-oriented mindset

Credentialing Timeframe:

Expect 4–6 weeks to complete onboarding—perfect timing to start this summer.
