IN Compass Health is searching for a qualified, BC/BE Nocturnist to join our established program at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa and our newly refurbished OSF St. Elizabeth-Peru. This position is for a Nocturnist only. St. Elizabeth is currently a 97-bed hospital that is part of the elite OSF Healthcare System. In mid-August, Peru will be the larger facility with approximately 99 beds and Ottawa will be downsized to 20 beds. St. Elizabeth was awarded an “A” grade for Hospital Safety by the Leapfrog Group. St. Elizabeth is located in Ottawa, Illinois, a rural community 70 miles west of Chicago. Nestled between the Fox and the Illinois Rivers, Ottawa is abundant with natural beauty, including the Starved Rock State Park, promotes a high quality of life, and has access to big city amenities. Peru is a slightly larger city with more amenities and is only two exits south of Ottawa on Interstate I-80. The area boasts some of the best schools in the state of Illinois, both public and private.
