We have an exciting opportunity for a board-certified, or board-eligible, Electrophysiologist with comprehensive training in complex arrhythmias ablation and device implantation to join our large multi-specialty cardiovascular practice in the Northern Virginia-DC Metro Area.

Virginia Heart, Northern Virginia’s premier cardiology practice, is seeking an additional electrophysiologist to join its large, cohesive physician group. We have a strong alignment with the leading health system in the area, and they are committed to continued expansion in this region and our practice will be a key part of that plan. We provide EP services in multiple hospitals and clinical sites, with principal care provided in a large quaternary-care facility with state-of-the-art EP lab mapping platforms and technology coupled with robust clinical pathways and support teams. Mature programs are in place for device extraction, AF and VT ablation, and LAAO.


We are the largest established Private Cardiology Physician Group in Northern Virginia with over 30 years of success and a very stable partner base.


  1. Virginia Heart is approaching 100 providers (66 physicians & 33 APPs) who have received training at the top medical universities and fellowship programs in the country. Many of our physicians have academic appointments and/or participate in a variety of teaching programs locally.
  2. The practice has robust physician governance, a solid, experienced executive team, and ample opportunities for physicians to participate in shaping the practice’s strategy, direction, and operations.
  3. We have 10 established offices in the Northern Virginia area and work at 7 hospitals.
  4. We have a physician-owned, brand-new state-of-the-art digital PET-CT.
  5. We have a world-class research/clinical trial program that is consistently a top national enroller.
  6. We offer ancillary services on-site in our clinics, including Nuclear, PET-CT, Echo, Devices, EKG, Stress, Holter, Non-invasive Vascular Lab, and Sleep Centers.
  7. This position is also supported by 7 full-spectrum electrophysiologist partners within Virginia Heart.


Candidate Requirements:

  1. Solid foundation of EP clinical knowledge and comfort in complex ablation procedures and all facets of device implantation and management.
  2. Interest in extraction welcomed.
  3. Must have a collaborative approach to functioning with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, interventional and structural cardiologists, advanced CHF/transplant specialists, and cardiac surgeons to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Northern Virginia’s premier cardiology group is seeking an additional electrophysiologist to join its existing 6-member electrophysiology section practicing within a large, cohesive 50+ physician group. We provide EP services in multiple hospitals and clinical sites, with principal care provided in a large quaternary-care facility. We practice within a collaborative health system, with state-of-the-art EP lab mapping platforms and technology coupled with robust clinical pathways and support teams. Mature device extraction, AF and VT ablation, LAAO programs are in place.

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified cardiac electrophysiology physician with training in all aspects of procedural and consultative electrophysiology. Candidates should have a solid foundation of EP clinical knowledge and comfort in complex ablation procedures and all facets of device implantation and management. Interest in extraction welcomed. Must have a collaborative approach to function in a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, IV and structural cardiologists, advanced CHF/transplant specialists, and cardiac surgeons to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
