Orthopaedic Surgery - Adult Reconstructive Surgery Job at Banner Health in Arizona

The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing team of Orthopedic Surgeons in Phoenix Metro - West Valley. We provide care to a varied group of patients with general orthopedic and total joint surgical needs. Our PA will see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic round on patients in the hospital, and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona
• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• ACLS/BLS
• Experienced PA w/Orthopedic skill preferred

Practice Details:

• Full-time
• Inpatient/Outpatient position | 3 days per week Clinic; 2 days per week OR
• Call: Practice Call only; no Hospital Call (7 shifts per month to include one weekend)
