We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Physical Therapist - Pelvic Floor Specialist to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology practice full time in Voorhees, NJ. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking specialized care and support for pelvic health.
This position is M-F, No Weekends!
The Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pelvic floor function and musculoskeletal health.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and behavioral strategies.
- Educate and support patients on self-management strategies for pelvic floor health.
- Collaborate with referring providers and other members of the care team to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based techniques in pelvic health and physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Advanced training and certification in pelvic health (e.g., Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health, or equivalent).
- APTA Board Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist (WCS)
- Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC), preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' of clinical experience in pelvic floor therapy required.
- Experience treating a wide range of pelvic health conditions across the lifespan.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and strong documentation skills.
- Eligible to participate in state programs, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid.
