Nephrology Job at Veterans Health Administration in Little Rock, AR

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), near the beautiful Ozark Mountains, is seeking a full-time MD/DO Nephrologist in Little Rock.  The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology and skilled in the latest types of Nephrology procedures.  Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, located in the central part of the state. Little Rock has earned a reputation as The Natural State!  It is a wonderful place to live.  Arkansans' can spend their weekends exploring the historic Arkansas State Capitol, wandering through the Arkansas Art Centers and museums, or enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful Ozark Mountains.  With a National Airport reachable in a 15-minute drive, Little Rock is also a great place to live and explore the nation. 

Highlights of this opportunity:

• Potential starting base salary range:  $260,000-$300,000
• Amazing Retirement pension and retiree health benefits for life.   
• Daily work schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm; 
  • 1 day per week in clinic
  • 3-4 days per week in the endoscopy lab
  • Inpatient consult rotation
  • 1/4 call coverage, with assistance of residents and a full hospitalist team.   
• No Physician Employment Contract, you can moonlight or work in other facilities as long as you do not treat veterans there. 
• Financial incentives, such as recruitment, and relocation, and Education Debt reduction of up to $200K. 
• Malpractice tail coverage provided
